Notebooks

This year I have been very busy. One of the things I have done is design notebooks that can be purchased  on Amazon.  The first one I designed was called Nature Notes You see, I was on the roof cleaning the gutters and I had just found out about selling notebooks on Amazon. The gutters were full of maple seeds, they were flying everywhere, so I came up with the name Maple Seed Press. When I came back inside I designed this notebook. On the inside of the notebook there are graph paper pages on the left and lined pages on the right. If you flip the pages like a flip book a small maple seed goes down the side of the page. This was only the beginning.

Write 3 sentences worksheet

Today we were very busy running around, so we had a light home school day. The worksheet I created for today was based on Gravity Falls. Mandy loved to watch this show when we had Hulu. It is just a list of words to try to get her writing sentences. She was in a silly mood so she wrote silly sentences but she did not complain and she was happy to see Mable and Dipper at the top of the page. Here is a link to the worksheet.

A new approach for the New Year

My daughter is 6 years old and we have been homeschooling this year due to Covid 19. We have been using Harcourt Family Learning Complete Curriculum for 1st Grade. I like the curriculum but she hates the pictures in the book and complains about them daily. On Mondays we work on reading and I can't remember the last time we have had a Monday with no crying until today. I decided since she hates the pictures so much I would make worksheets with characters that she loves from Minecraft, Gravity Falls, Spongebob, etc. and she did them with very little complaining. So I guess I have a part time unpaid job of making worksheets now. Since I am making them anyway I thought I would share them with the world. Keep in mind I am not a teacher but if you would like to use these for your kiddos feel free. They were made in Google Docs with clip art that I found online. Today we did reading worksheets with a Minecraft theme . Feel free to use it and let me know if it helps. Here are  page 2 , and
